About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. From a young age, he was influenced by his family's scholarly traditions and developed a deep connection with calligraphy. He initially studied the Liu style of calligraphy, later delving into the works of the Two Wangs (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi), Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he practiced diligently, deepening his immersion and achieving mastery. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan School while also drawing inspiration from renowned masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. He synthesized various artistic styles to form his unique aesthetic. His works possess both traditional depth and personal style, holding great potential for collection and appreciation.
