About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. He was nurtured in a scholarly family from a young age, developing a deep connection with calligraphy and painting. He began studying Liu style calligraphy, later specializing in the works of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he diligently practiced calligraphy, deeply immersing himself in it and achieving a comprehensive understanding. In traditional Chinese painting, he studied under the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from renowned masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, absorbing various artistic elements to form his unique style. His works possess both traditional depth and personal character, holding great potential for collection and appreciation.
