About the Artist

Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. From a young age, he was immersed in a scholarly family environment and developed a lifelong connection with calligraphy and painting. He initially studied the Liu style of calligraphy, later delving deeply into the works of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he diligently practiced calligraphy, achieving profound mastery and integrating various styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited the Lingnan School style, while also drawing inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, incorporating diverse artistic elements to form his unique style. His works possess both traditional depth and personal character, offering significant potential for collection and appreciation.
