About the Artist

Li Kuimin, also known as Chengxizhai Master and Li Weishan, is originally from Weishan, Shandong, and currently resides in Canada. He began his artistic journey early, immersed in scholarly traditions and calligraphy from a young age. He initially studied the Liu style of calligraphy, practicing diligently for decades. Later, he delved into the works of Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating their styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan School while also drawing inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, embracing diverse artistic forms to develop his unique style. He is a powerful calligrapher and painter whose works combine traditional heritage with personal flair, possessing great potential for collection and appreciation.
