About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. From a young age, he was influenced by his family's scholarly traditions and developed a deep connection with calligraphy. He initially studied the Liu style of calligraphy, later delving into the works of the Two Wangs (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi), Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he practiced diligently, immersing himself deeply and synthesizing various styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from renowned masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. He has absorbed various artistic influences, developing his own unique style. His works combine traditional depth with personal flair, possessing great potential for collection and appreciation.
