About the Artist
Li Kuimin, also known as Chengxizhai Master and Li Weishan, hails from Weishan, Shandong, and now resides in Canada. He was nurtured in a scholarly environment from a young age, developing a deep connection with calligraphy and painting. He began his calligraphy studies with the Liu style, dedicating decades to continuous practice and deep immersion. Later, he thoroughly studied the styles of Er Wang, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating them into his own. For traditional Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from renowned masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. He has absorbed from various arts, forming his unique style. He is an accomplished calligrapher and painter whose works combine traditional heritage with a personal style, possessing significant potential for collection and appreciation.
