About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. From a young age, he was immersed in his family's scholarly tradition and developed a deep connection with calligraphy. He initially learned Liu style calligraphy, then meticulously studied the works of "Two Wangs" (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi), Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he practiced diligently, becoming deeply immersed and integrating various styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he followed the Lingnan school, while also drawing inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. He absorbed various artistic elements, developing his own unique style. His works combine traditional heritage with personal flair, possessing great potential for collection and appreciation.
