About the Artist:
Li Kuimin, also known as Chengyizhai Master and Li Weishan, hails from Weishan, Shandong, and currently resides in Canada. Born into a scholarly family, he was immersed in books and calligraphy from an early age. He began studying the Liu style of calligraphy and diligently practiced for decades, deepening his mastery. Later, he thoroughly studied the works of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating their styles. For Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan School while also drawing inspiration from masters like Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, gathering extensively from various arts to form his unique style. He is a formidable calligrapher and painter whose works possess both traditional depth and personal character, offering significant potential for collection and appreciation.
