About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. From a young age, he was immersed in his family's scholarly traditions and developed a deep connection with calligraphy and painting. He began his calligraphy studies with the Liu style, then delved into the works of the Two Wangs (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi), Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he diligently practiced, achieving profound mastery and integrating various styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from renowned masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. By incorporating diverse artistic elements, he developed his unique style. His works possess both traditional depth and personal character, offering significant potential for collection and appreciation.
