About the Artist
Li Kuimin, also known as Chenxizhaizhu and Li Weishan, hails from Weishan, Shandong, and now resides in Canada. He grew up in an academic family, immersed in the fragrance of books, and developed a lifelong connection with calligraphy and painting from an early age. He began his calligraphy studies with the Liu style, diligently practicing for decades, deeply immersing himself in the art. Later, he meticulously studied the styles of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating them into his own. For traditional Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, adopting various artistic strengths to form his unique style. He is a powerful calligrapher and painter whose works possess both traditional depth and personal character, offering significant potential for collection and appreciation.
