About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. Growing up in a scholarly family, he developed a deep connection with calligraphy from a young age. He began by studying the Liu style, then delved into the works of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he diligently practiced calligraphy, achieving profound immersion and mastery of various styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from renowned masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. By embracing diverse artistic traditions, he has developed a unique style. His works combine traditional foundations with a personal touch, possessing great potential for collection and appreciation.
