This work features the ancient poem "Ascending Mount Tai" by Shi Runzhang of the Qing Dynasty. The poem describes the magnificent scene of the sunrise and the broad vista from a high vantage point. The calligraphy, in running script, is fluid and powerful. About the Artist
Li Kuimin, master of Chengxi Studio, hails from Weishan, Shandong, and now resides in Canada. He is known as Li Weishan. He inherited a scholarly family tradition from a young age, immersed in literature and art, and has been connected to calligraphy and painting since childhood. He initially studied Liu-style calligraphy and has practiced diligently for decades, continuously deepening his expertise. Later, he thoroughly studied the works of "Two Wangs" (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi), Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating their styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited the Lingnan School and also drew inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, gathering diverse artistic elements to form his own unique style. He is a skilled calligrapher and painter whose works possess both traditional depth and personal style, holding great potential for collection and appreciation.
