About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. Born into a scholarly family, he was immersed in literature and art from a young age, forming an early connection with calligraphy and painting. He initially studied the Liu style of calligraphy, later delving deeply into the works of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he practiced diligently, becoming deeply immersed and achieving a comprehensive understanding. In traditional Chinese painting, he studied under the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. He assimilated various artistic styles, developing his unique approach. His works combine traditional heritage with a distinctive personal style, possessing great potential for collection and appreciation.
