About the Artist
Li Kuimin, master of Chengxi Studio, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. He is known as Li Weishan. He inherited a family tradition and grew up in a scholarly environment, developing a deep connection with calligraphy and painting from a young age. He initially learned the Liu style of calligraphy, practicing diligently for decades and delving deeply into it. Later, he meticulously studied the works of "Two Wangs," Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating their styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he followed the Lingnan School, also drawing inspiration from famous masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, absorbing various artistic elements to form his own unique style. He is a powerful calligrapher and painter. His works possess both traditional depth and personal style, with great potential for collection and appreciation.
