About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. From a young age, he was influenced by his family's scholarly traditions and developed a deep connection with calligraphy. He began by studying the Liu style and later delved into the works of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. He has practiced calligraphy tirelessly for decades, achieving deep immersion and a comprehensive understanding. In Chinese painting, he followed the Lingnan School, also drawing inspiration from famous artists such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, integrating various artistic styles to form his own unique approach. His works combine traditional foundations with personal style, possessing great potential for collection and appreciation.
