About the Artist:

Li Kuimin, also known as Chengxi Zhaizhu, hails from Weishan, Shandong, and is currently based in Canada. He is known as Li Weishan. He inherited a scholarly family tradition from a young age, immersed in literature and deeply connected to calligraphy and painting. He began his calligraphy studies with the Liu style and diligently practiced for decades, deepening his mastery. Later, he delved into the works of the Two Wangs (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi), Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating their styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he studied under the Lingnan School, also drawing inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, collecting various artistic elements to form his unique style. He is a powerful calligrapher and painter whose works possess both traditional depth and personal character, offering significant potential for collection and appreciation.
