About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. Born into a scholarly family, he was immersed in literature and had an early connection with calligraphy. He initially studied the Liu style of calligraphy, later delving into the works of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he practiced diligently, deepening his understanding and integrating various styles. In traditional Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan school, while also drawing inspiration from masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. He widely assimilated various art forms, developing his own unique style. His works possess both traditional depth and personal character, offering great potential for collection and appreciation.
