About the Artist
Li Kuimin, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. He was nurtured in a scholarly family from a young age, immersed in the world of books and calligraphy. He initially learned the Liu style of calligraphy, later delving deeply into the works of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi. For decades, he practiced diligently, deepening his immersion and achieving a comprehensive understanding. In traditional Chinese painting, he studied under the Lingnan School, while also drawing inspiration from renowned masters such as Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo. He draws widely from various art forms, developing his own unique style. His works combine traditional foundations with personal flair, possessing great potential for collection and appreciation.
