Artist Biography: Li Kuimin, master of Chengxi Studio, originally from Weishan, Shandong, now resides in Canada. He is known as Li Weishan. He grew up in a scholarly family, immersed in literary culture, and has been involved with calligraphy and painting since childhood. He began studying Liu style calligraphy and has practiced diligently for decades, gaining deep mastery. Later, he thoroughly studied the styles of the Two Wangs, Ouyang Xun, Mi Fu, Yan Zhenqing, and Su Shi, integrating them into his own style. For Chinese painting, he inherited from the Lingnan school and drew inspiration from masters like Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and Wu Changshuo, absorbing various artistic elements to form his unique style. He is a powerful calligrapher and painter whose works possess both traditional depth and personal style, holding great potential for collection and appreciation in value.
